Swelling? When im not pregnant?

So I thought my swelling ended with preeclampsia. Guess not.

Rewind...

After I had Carter I had a ton of issues with my feet. It was painful to walk etc. Ob said it was due to the ligaments that stretch out from the weight and strain of pregnancy. Well 5 months later feet are fine but my ankle is not. I have been having massive amounts of pain when I move it a certain way. Or it will be "ok" but then lets say I take myself for a grocery store stroll...then it feels like I sprained it but meanwhile not possible since all I did was walk the store.

Yesterday I had some Xrays taken and it showed minor soft tissue damage and swelling. WTH? How? I did nothing to it that I can recall. Man I feel old.

Right now I am in the process of finding a physical therapist that I can see and have it properly diagnosed.

She's everywhere

Lately, thats so true. First it started with the simple fact that for some reason the past few nights when I turn over its 11:17 (day Cara was born) Then it started with the fact that I realized my birthday was coming up. August 27. So add 8+2+7=17. Never realized that. So strange...Strannnnnggeeee.

7 for Mommy, 7 for Cara. That is my new lucky number. I mean I do not view Cara being born as lucky by any means, but if she was never born Carter would not be here...sigh.

Wow...

5 MONTHS!

Yup 5. 5 big months. Sigh. Where has time gone?

I am enjoying every second with this little man. He is now rolling over both ways and scooting. Carter is also sleeping in his crib! Yay! He is teething, so he is waking up at 130 and 430 at night, which is not the most ideal sleep pattern for momma, but I enjoy every minute of looking at his sweet face.

His eyes are still green and hair is coming in a bit of a lighter tone with some auburn, just like his dad!

Under Contract!

This is our new home! We did it! I am so excited! This home is move in contition! We need to upgrade a few things but it is more to personal taste than to "need." We sit on a 1/4 an acre. I can't wait to add our personal touch to the home! 15 minutes from my Aunt who watches Carter and 20 minutes from my parents and about 25 from where my husband and I work! We used to drive 45 minutes to and from work so 25 is amazing for us. Especially in the chicagoland area! This will not be a home we will stay in, but we plan on being out before 8 years.
